Dr Rachel Tang

Rachel is a clinical teaching fellow specialising in Urology Surgery. She is born and raised in West Cumbria and was awarded the Dr Kate Granger Scholarship to study MBBS at the University of Central Lancashire.

After graduating, Rachel has trained in the North and completed her core surgical training in Yorkshire & Humber. She has an interest in teaching and widening participation and has mentored many students and doctors throughout her career.

Outside of medicine, Rachel enjoys aerial hoop, paddleboarding, walks by the sea/lakes, and travelling.
