Biography

Lydia is the Development Lead for Anatomy at PCSM and holds the position of Senior Teaching Fellow for Anatomy and Diagnostics at Imperial. She earned her BSc in Biomedical Science and MSc in Anatomy and Education from the University of Sheffield.  Lydia brings experience of reviewing, developing, and delivering anatomy curricula at several medical schools across the UK.

Lydia is dedicated to ensuring that the medical anatomy curriculum is relevant to clinical practice and that it incorporates innovative developments in teaching and assessment. Her specific areas of interest are in radiological anatomy and alternatives to cadaveric anatomy teaching. Lydia is also pursuing a PhD which will explore the role that anatomy plays in medical education and in ensuring the preparedness for practice of medical students.
