Liz Callan

Liz Callan is the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine Co-ordination Manager for the University of Cumbria (UoC).  She is a graduate in Mathematics and Management Science from the University of Hull. Liz has worked at the University of Cumbria for over 20 years, and as such has a vast range of knowledge and skills relevant to the higher education sector. During her time at the University Liz has worked within Human Resources and the Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate, leading on many aspects of the research policies and data. She has been instrumental in successfully delivering key institutional projects, most recently the Research Excellence Framework submission and securing Research Degree Awarding Powers. Liz joined the PCSM team as Project Manager in November 2022 and now continues in the role of PCSM Co-ordination Manager, acting as the lead contact for UoC with both the PCSM leadership team and Imperial College colleagues to support the coordination and implementation of the School.
