Dr Gillian Durham

Dr Gillian Durham is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine. Gillian completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Bradford, leaving with a PhD in Pharmacology in 2019. She then continued her research in cardiovascular inflammation in a postdoctoral research position at the University of Hull before taking on a Lecturer in Biomedical Science position in 2021, progressing to a Deputy Programme Director of the Biomedical Science programme role in 2022. Gillian joined the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine as a Senior Teaching Fellow in Medical Sciences in January 2025.
