Dr Eleanor Fay

Ellie is a Clinical Teaching fellow at Pears Cumbria School of Medicine, spending half of her week teaching and the other half working as a trust grade doctor on the respiratory ward at CIC.

She graduated from Norwich Medical School and then completed her foundation training at University Hospital of North Tees. She then spent a year teaching the Year 3 medical students for the University of Sunderland at the North Tees site which helped to develop her interests in medical education. This year she will complete her postgraduate certificate of medical education alongside her work at PSCM.

Outside of work, Ellie can be found over in the Lake District most weekends. She has completed around 70/214 of the Wainwright fells and is hoping that living in Cumbria will help to progress this number quickly! She also enjoys rock climbing, paddleboarding, baking and reading.
