Biography

Katy trained as a General Practitioner in North Cumbria and has lived here for the last 16 years, having moved from Scotland where she completed a BSc before studying medicine. Alongside her clinical work as a GP locally she teaches 3rd year medical students and is also an examiner for the General Medical Council. She is looking forward to continuing these roles alongside the Professional Development Tutor position. When not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors in the Lake District with her family.
