Mark Magas

Mark Magas is our Pharmacology and Prescribing Development Lead at PCSM and a member of the School Board.

Mark is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Cumbria, leading the Biomedical Science programme and holding Fellowship with the Institute of Biomedical Science. He’s also a registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council and maintains membership with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Additionally, Mark is affiliated with the British Pharmacological Society and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Mark’s career began as a hospital pharmacist, transitioning through clinical and teaching roles in community pharmacy before moving to education and obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Chemistry Education. Mark began his teaching career teaching on Advanced Practitioner and Non-Medical Prescribing Programmes before moving to his current roles.’
